Spiel is a dictation app for Apple Silicon Macs. Press the Fn key or a custom hotkey, speak, and Spiel types what you said into the app you're working in. Transcription happens entirely on the Mac — audio is never sent to a server, and there are no analytics or telemetry.
Each dictation is saved as a local note, so you can search, edit, and reuse what you said. Optional cleanup trims filler words and fixes punctuation using Apple's on-device models. Spiel is a one-time purchase, available from spiel.to with a three-day free trial, and on the Mac App Store.
